There were no losers in Week 5. Great job everyone. The big favorites won for a "formful" Sunday.
Everyone picked early games.
I can't remember 42 entries all picking winners in consecutive weeks. But as we know it gets tougher each week. Stay tuned!

There was only one loser in Week 3. Matt Boggs picked PIT over CIN and lost when CIN rallied in the fourth quarter. Matt had lost previously and therefore he is out of the competition.

Week 2 Summary
Week 1 was the best Week 1 ever with only 1 loss from 44 entries (97.7%).
Week 2 wasn't so hot. 16 out of 44 picked losing teams. As usually my pick was one of those! I had TEN over HOU. After seeing both teams on TV last weekend, I couldn't see anything but a TEN win. Boy was I wrong. So were 5 others.
9 lost with GB as they were beaten at home against the upstart CIN Bengals.
Finally. 1 had the Steelers. Here's an interesting fact, the Steelers have played in CHI 13 times in their history and their record is 1-12.
Lincoln Barrett played two entries and on one he selected losing teams in consecutive weeks. His is the first entry out of the competition. Luckily for Lincoln he has a second entry which sports two winners.
Counts:
28 alive for first
43 alive for second (15 with one loss)
1 out
(Please note that one entry is not yet in the group. It will be added this evening now that he has the correct information. Don't fret the pick was alive on ESPN and is validated with two winners thus far. This is why the current ESPN Group lists only 43 entries. If anyone noticed!)

A Week 1 Loss
Lincoln Barrett picked the Houston Texans and lost in Week 1. He's the only one thus far, but the week is not finished as some entries selected a Monday Night game...I'm assuming they have New England or San Diego.
Here's my annual update of Week 1 losses:
1999 - 23 of 41
2000 - 4 of 51 (7.81%)
2001 - 25 of 59
2002 - 13 of 55
2003 - 39 of 55
2004 - 3 of 55 (5.45%)
2005 - 26 of 58
2006 - 4 of 62 (6.45%)
2007 - 5 of 50
2008 - 25 of 45
2009 - 1 of 44 (thus far)
This could be the best week one ever.
